They're just saying, there's no guarantees. There's more likelihood that if you have a male with looks you like, and the female's father and brother look very similar to the male's looks, you're more likely to get that look you want than if you breed two very different colored bloodlines...

That is likely due to water on the sensor affecting its reading, not that the water necessarily made the cage that much colder. Mine does that too. When the water isn't beading on the temp probe anymore, it will be back to a reasonable temperature, right ?

I've been browsing for those off and on for a while too, nothing jumped out at me either. I've seen wild caughts listed a couple of times over the last year, but haven't come across anyone actively breeding them, and I'm not up for wild caughts yet.

Maybe you just weren't meant for the "community forum" type of thing. You could try starting a couple more scientific focused threads and only follow those, disregard the other ones, nobody can make you read anything that doesn't interest you except yourself.
