Thanks Sandra, I threw it in with the baggie of crickets i brought home tonight, i guess we'll see if they eat it...
As for the ginger ale, it has potential actually, which is impressive for me, because i am SO not the kind of girl who does domestic cooking stuff like this normally! Lol. Not...
Started buying fresh ginger for in my stirfrys, I accidentally bought two big chunks last week, used up a bunch last night trying to make homemade ginger ale, wondered about the scraps of skin I cut off before I chop it, and/or the boiled stuff I strained out of the ginger ale - good/bad to...
Aww.. She's pretty! Dontcha love the purple cheeks? Tee hee, I don't know why, I dont even like purple usually, but I love Trillian's purple cheeks. Lol.
Looks faly to me. But im no expert, just know my own. The area where his red specs are coming in was the first area on Zelig for the red spots to become really noticeable too. Although he had more red showing before the yellow cheeks, it still took a little time for all the red spots to really...
My mitsio Zaphod is my favourite for looks. My faly Zelig is my favourite for his sweet personality and nice eating skills. While I do think my faly is beautiful, i find his colours just don't pop as eye catching as the mitsio colours do. I just really love yellow on a Cham.
Zaphod's yellow is...
They're just saying, there's no guarantees. There's more likelihood that if you have a male with looks you like, and the female's father and brother look very similar to the male's looks, you're more likely to get that look you want than if you breed two very different colored bloodlines...
That is likely due to water on the sensor affecting its reading, not that the water necessarily made the cage that much colder. Mine does that too. When the water isn't beading on the temp probe anymore, it will be back to a reasonable temperature, right ?
I've been browsing for those off and on for a while too, nothing jumped out at me either. I've seen wild caughts listed a couple of times over the last year, but haven't come across anyone actively breeding them, and I'm not up for wild caughts yet.
Maybe you just weren't meant for the "community forum" type of thing. You could try starting a couple more scientific focused threads and only follow those, disregard the other ones, nobody can make you read anything that doesn't interest you except yourself.
I was curious about the same thing, thanks for asking this, so I'd love to hear some reports on other people's female's weights at around 9 months and one year or more.
We know not to breed them until at least a year and until they're of sufficient size, I think the point is that we're (or at...
Thanks for your responses guys.
So if I can put some shelf or something between the cages and the a/c to deal with avoiding the a/c not blowing directly on them, and i can probably position the fan in front of the cages so it's not oscillating at them.
But do you think the open windows at the...
Nope, I'm not trying to start
any fights or getting any discussions closed here, just involved in the conversation. This is obviously a topic that directly affects me, since I do have a faly myself and also because i have future breeding ambitions that might have involved him.
It definitely...
Whoah man, BS, really? For starters i'm pretty sure 99% percent of that post WAS me giving an honest opinion about the topic of your thread. Part of it involved the still existing possibility that there is simply some variation in colours even in the supposedly pure specimens. Which is why I...
