That's what I was thinking. I have seen 2 pics of her and she looks great, greener than some carpets I've seen. She was mated 3 weeks ago and he says is showing signs and colors of being gravid. I love carpets and have wanted to breed them for awhile now.

with an insulation issue and high temps I would avoid it. Pygmies are sensitive to overheating especially.

I meant to highlight that crickets are higher in calcium and may lead to over supplementation, but I worded it sort of funny...:rolleyes:

Maybe highlight on how dubias or other feeders may be better for regular feeding than crickets, because they are generally higher in natural calcium. This elevated calcium on top of powdered supplements may actually increase how much calcium the cham gets. this is especially true for Jackson...

I've only had pygmies and a jackson, but love the jackson. He is very curious about what's happening around him. at 6 months old he hurries to the door of his enclosure and watches me. Timid when it comes to picking him up, but chill once settled, and loves riding on my shoulder.

the front legs look to be showing signs of mbd already in those pictures. How often do you replace your bulbs? It is recommended they be replaced every six months.
