Ah here it is! I knew I'd started a new thread somewhere!! lol Hiya :) Thganks for replying  Cheers for the link, I'll have a look at that. I like the sound of the silk worms so I might have a bash if I can find any eggs! I saw bean weavles for sale the other day, I don't suppose just...
Could any UK residents here put some links in this thread as to where you get your food please? I've only managed to find giant mealworms, mealworms, black crickets, Ethiopian crickets and wax worms so far and I feel like I'm missing something for my Veileds. Does anyone here keep beetles for...
I've noticed the ame thing and was going to start a thread but thought I'd have a browse on here first :) My male ( I think, both mine look female) came sprinting over to me when I fed him this morning SO fast I thought he was going to end up not only on the floor but on the other side of the...
Thanks :) Compared to my female he is just downright friendly lol
I have to wonder what if any, sort of damage an adult veiled can do when it decides to bite you....
I'll add a question here if I may... Let's say you put a bit of grape pr apple in your cricket tub for them to eat. Two or three days goes by and you've forgotten to take it out. It's starting to grow furry mould. (Pancake mould is it? Would it be considered very bad practice to remove those...
I was feeding my chams today, (Phylis my female is getting much better by the way. She responded very well to the Baytril) when I went into Ralph's enclosure he was already very excited lol Since I started hand feeding them he has been the one to come rushing over to me now and then which is...
Yeah I have to tip toe into the snake room at night for my final checks. They're both fairly easily woken up really. Considering the way chams can contort themselves into being very thin, I would have thought when they expire they would look very crumpled :( Oh man I can't bear it! I'm outta here...
I lived in central Bath for a handful of years and then my wife and I moved to the coutryside ten years ago. We're still here in Bathford :) Nice and quiet, nice clean air and lots of wildlife :) I meant to add a picture of one of my chams yesterday and forgot so here he is... Ralph :)
Ah right :) I can clearly see the bars on both of them now and the patterns are very vivid and detailed. As I say they seem to have more yellow in them too. They probably aren't far off then. Maybe six seven months....
Are you in the west then Kirst? :D
I'm a Welshman but I live just outside Bath :) I've heard starbursting refered to as when they get to the right age and get thier proper full on colours.....
My Veiled chameleons are really getting some bulk to them now! Phylis my female is getting better now aswell after an upper resp infection which is great :) Anyway.... This starbursting malarky. When in the chameleon's lifeline does this occur then? What sort of size/age? And how does it...
Oooooh isn't that the truth !! I've had all that with my snakes. I still get it in fact! Just yesterday I had a text asking me "What's the lowest prices you'll take for your pair of Royal pythons?" Oh don't YOU wish haggling was that easy!! I've even had " Can I put it in with my tortoise?"...
