I just moved my 1 1/2 year old veild into a 24x24x48 cage. He is completely freaked out. He sits on a bottom branch all the way hidden in the corner all day. As soon as I walk in the room, if he's up in the cage somewhere, he'll take off to that bottom corner and hide. He's still eating well but...

Has anyone tried to breed silkworms? Is it more trouble than it's worth?? It looks kind of complicated.

has anyone had any bad experiences with moss bedding, I mixed it with some soil, and pressed it to the bottom. It's supposed to be safe for the lizards to swallow in small amounts. I'm using it because I'm having problems keeping the humididy up and the moss really helps alot.

Does anyone have any experience shippping reptiles using Delta Dash as Air cargo?? It looks like my best option. It's same day shipping, it's the quickest and seems like the safest. Anyone familiar with iata shipping standards for live reptiles?

Anyone know of any fine misting systems? I had a habba mist and that thing sucked.

the flight is about 6-7 hours. he's leaving in the early morning, and will get here in florida in the early afternoon. The person i talked to with the airline said they are kept temp.-controlled, but like i said b4, still worried.:eek:

my brother had to take mine about a year ago, we were moving, and there was nowhere for the cage, but he's shipping him back to me next week. Kinda worried about the stress of the trip though. He's flying on a cargo plane.

Has anyone had any issues with the pothos plant in a chameleon cage? I have a Veiled Chameleon and since they are known plant eaters, the toxicity level scares me. I've seen some places that say they are perfectly safe, but I've also heard the exact opposite?? Would appreciate any insight. Thanks
