This is my first enclosure for a chameleon. Got everything set up so far.
Going to finish the plumbing for the trey this weekend and waiting on my Arcadia lighting next week. So i hope to get my boy from Living Color next week some time.

yeah i have been wanting a panther for years but could never fit it into my life. I finally saved up the extra cash and have the time to get back into reptiles so i pulled the trigger. I kind of want to do a live viv next. Getting a lil pumped up my wife is looking at me like im crazy.
i am new like you, but after tons of research the arcadeia is the way to go. That is what i picked up while i wait for my Panther to come in. The Monsoon mister is not that expensive at all, but i dont have the luxury to have my office close by. One thing to look into though is your weekends...
for the next enclosure ill be doing a furniture grade cage thats mostly glass with vents and computer fans for air flow. want to do a glass displayy and lower ends of it screen so there is no chance of him trying to climb around the screen. heard they can lose claws from that.

I had a few lamps from my dragon set up so i didnt order those.
thanks we dont go that many places that often, my wife is an athletic trainer so she really only gets 1 month a year when schools out to go places so we may go to the coast for a weekend.
I wouldnt have an issue having a sitter i was just curious what other people did..

thanks i have the monsoon from exo terra on its way. ordered the cage and everything i need for him before he gets here. But everything will be automatic misting and also a drip bottle of steady drinking.

thanks for the response, I want to get every thing going a few weeks before I get him so I know the humidity and temp is 100% stable and I do not run into any issues after I get him.
