You guys obviously don't have chins, lol. I have to a/c the house and chin house ( keeping it about 65, 70 MAX ), so yea, in the summer it's not unusual for us to have 600 or more bill.
I think also that unless they paid you for her that would be very un-business like... especially if you happen to buy your stuff there or what not. That can mean the difference between a customer and someone who bad mouths them.
I'm sorry for your loss.
I agree with Olimpia, it sounds like it was perhaps a pre-existing condition that was exacerbated by the stress of the situation. If handling was that stressful people would not be able to own or breed chams as they'd all die.
Fiesty AND thristy again today! Cleaned her mouth, wish her lip would heal but I don't think it will... :( I might eventually ask the vet if there is anything to help it, I'm just worried that her mouth tissues will be affected.
Here is a photo of her, I think she's looking a lot less...
Thanks!
The place I'm order the cage from is out of stock... so I'm going to go with a place that was recommended before, but they didn't have paypal, so I'll probably just transfer some money around and do that. I'm sad about that, I was hoping to have it early this week...
Okay... I was just going to not say anything about it but keep doing it, because I'm kind of OCD like that, but I weighed Pascal tonight... and she was .. 24 grams!!! I had to share just because it means she's eating and drinking good! And she was REALLY thirsty tonight. I can't wait to get...
Poop, you wanna talk about poop... we can talk about poop! Should I be worried about her pooping too much?!? She has been pooping at least once a day, poops look normal and all, just want to make sure! She loves her perch up higher, I can't wait until her new cage gets here! I'm going to get...
Does anyone have any vines, the flexible "ropey" kind? I just thought if someone had some spares laying around I'd get them here instead of a store.
Thanks!
Okay, they have a long one obviously? ( so clueless about lights for lizards, I can tell you about lights for chins... ) The one she has now is small, but I want the long one for the long cage. :D
I ordered a batch of 500, but we have another tank to keep them in. I got the 1/4" ones. Should I just maybe put about 10 in there for one day and kind of see how many are left? I mean, it used to be she ate what we put in there right away..
Ordered the new cage, excited about that...
I picked up a batch today to gut load, and I have food in her cage for them, they have collard greens and carrots and orange for "water".
Since she wasn't eating at all really I was hoping the food she knew ( Crickets) would help get her going on eating, I figured non-gut loaded crickets (...
Hmmm... I haven't noticed any new "holes" on her, lol. They came in a little box with cricket food and such and I put that in there, and they had been eating on the food. I think she doesn't like me to watch her eat, because she must've eaten a butter worm as it was missing as well. These were...
So she was NOT interested in worms today, did NOT want to drink today... did NOT want to shot to day... I guess at least she's the type of girl who knows what she wants!
But I took her out, she got her shot, she looked at bugs, I held her up by the light were she desperately wants to be for...
Well today her front "hands" and her stronger front leg are molting/shedding, I'm guessing maybe this is due to muscle growth increasing the size of them?
What do you guys think?
Spunky as usual, didn't seem to want any water, and was patient with me while I worked with her lip. I keep...
How do you water? Pictures very much appreciated. Even if it's so simple to you, it's probably foreign to me! Pascal is not liking what I've got going on, so I'm looking for some new ideas.
Thanks, can't wait to see 'em!
If it's best for her to have a smaller cage that's okay, I just figured if we could get the one she will be in forever it might be less stressful changing environments for her later.
I was looking at the site that Liz linked me to and I couldn't help but look at the "animals"... :rolleyes...
