mine are tiny so i feed them every other day, about a large spoonful, and it is usually consumed the day i feed them, or it is kinda dried out by then.
word from the wise, dont use a heating pad, even on low, it makes any cage bottom go 100F+ so use a low wattage heat bulb like 25w works to get the temp in the mid to high 80's
i keep mine i n a 10 gallon tank with screen glued just above the bottom so i have to clean it less, and ill try to get pics in a minute, my camera battery is dead. they are a lot better than crickets. basically just CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN.
ok, shots, they hurt, take they pain, they are necessary, and you wont die, trust me. there are many more painful things that can happen. period. it'll b fine, shots suck i know, but you have to get them so complaining wont help. that's it.
i just found out that i have to get 4 shots today, i doubt it will hurt, my shots before only felt like getting shot with a bb gun, which i am used to. tetanus is what i am getting toda, they are the big ones.

they are very small, and they clump together and if i need to get their poo, i just grab a piece of food, and they all come with it, i dump their poo, and then repeat every other day or so. btw, how dry should the food get be4 u add some more.
i just turned the heat off, and the temp is 79F i just fed them more food, how much should 2tbsp of food which is shredded last. i also use paper towels that i clean up 2x a week if it gets dirty, but there is alot of room, so i just move them to an unsoiled area and clean it up.
i just recently got 300 or so small silkies and they are in a 10 gallon terrarium, with paper towels on the bottom, and a heat pad on low, the ground temp is in the mid 90's, but a few inches above is in the mid 80's, does that sound good, and when they seem a little dry, should i give them a...
