I use @jamest0o0 for my roaches and they are not Dubia. The discoids are similar but softer and my little Panther (4 months old) loves them. I tried to get some stuff from Josh's Frogs today and he was out of everything. Morifeeders has lots of different feeders and they are super fast...
Wow... I can't even begin to say enough wows! And Grip is so cute I want to cry. Those plants are so freaking cool too! I love it so much. I want it. It's truly beautiful. You must be so proud and Grip must be so happy. Where in your house is this? Just curious. My baby panther has his...
Oh I have plans for branches and lots of them. I just haven't got my Dragon ledges in. I will put lots in. I have an outlet cord that is adjustable so i can turn down the bulb to the temp I need. He's sitting at 82 degrees with it away from the top so it should be safe for him. I got it...
So I’m moving my 4 month old panther Cham to his Reptibreeze 2x2x4 enclosure. I have a t5 HO linear light and a 100wt incandescent bulb heat lamp with adjustable power. I also have a jungle dawn spot plant light. I have a small basking branch about 8” from the top and the heat lamp is up on a...
I just wanted to rave about one of our sponsors here on the forum. Bruce at Chameleon Paradise has been so great not just with sending me a BEAUTIFUL HEALTHY Panther Chameleon, but he has been available for my crazy new cham mom fears since he got here and he took me through setting up to get...
James that is a pretty sweet set up. I don't need much different in winter since we don't really have one in Austin... it's like we have summer for 10 months then hot fall then hot spring. It's pretty much always hot.
I see what could be considered a chameleon but could also be considered part...
I was very worried about my little guy sleeping on the floor of his baby bin last night. Tonight he is in the bottom of his enclosure but he's on a branch this time. He's had a busy day with some time out on a plant while I cleaned up his baby bin. (right next to me of course)
Super exciting...
Thank you I will work on that. I am struggling to keep my basking temp up which why I moved the light closer. May just have to go with a higher wattage bulb.
Ok thank you. I guess we’ll see. He seems content and asleep until I shined a light on him. It just seems odd to not be at least on a branch. I emailed the breeder so I hope to hear from him.
I mean at night yes. That is what I didn't make clear. This started after lights went out. He decided to sleep down there for bedtime. He didn't sleep during the day. I forget time zones are different and i just wasn't clear.
I didn't make it clear that this is what he did at bedtime. Not daytime. Daytime he was up and around just fine. I just am worried he's sleeping in the floor of his enclosure and it's damp.
The linear is UVB and I only have the plant light on for a little while. It's just the heat lamp and the uvb. He came from this exact set up. Bruce at Chameleon Paradise is adamant that this is the way to do it. My large enclosure isn't quite ready. I don't have my mister yet.
He was up...
THis is just his baby bin that the breeder told me to get for another 2-4 weeks before putting him in the 2x2x4 Reptibreeze. He has a t5 HO linear bulb light and heat lamp and a jungle dawn plant light that i have on part of the day. It's damp from misting. I empty any water that stands in...
I have a 3.5 month old male panther that I got yesterday. He’s asleep on the bottom of his baby bin. He ate well today and had a really nice poop with white urate. It’s damp down there in the bottom from the misting. I’m worried. He basked a good bit today.
what do I do?
Ok so I’m a new chameleon mom. I got my baby boy Karma the Panther Cham yesterday. I got so excited I texted the group chat that he pooped and it looked good!! And I get my first small starter roach colonies tomorrow. We’rea weird bunch but I feel at home here! ❤️❤️❤️?
