We have water filters here in the US you can put right on the tap made by PUR company...i dont know what they remove...google them and find out.

I wouldnt have anything on the bottom...its just harder to clean when they poop

Try a Sheflera...i mist my chameleons at least an hour a day and the plants do very well.

Make sure you wash the plants...most of them have pesticides and if it does and the chameleons licks water off of those leaves with pesticide it will be dead in a week.

Take him outside now. He will thrive. Just watch the temps and you may want to mist at least an hour a day. Make sure he has lots of plant cover so he can get in the shade when he wants to.

Try a soaked cotton ball with saline...gently press it onto the closed eye while squeezing some of the solution. She may have debris in her eye and needs a little more to wash it out. Be very gentle. Chameleons eyes are delicate.

Just get one of the aluminum fixtures from home depot. I use the outdoor spotlight bulbs cause they last longer and dont pop when they get hit with water.
