I was thinking about getting a baby veiled from a local breeder. (I have gotten a young one before but it was about 3 weeks and kinda sick so I lost her) Anyway I was wondering if I could get some expert information and advice on how to raise a 7 week old baby veiled.
I was told and have read tat columbians are pretty docile. My little guy lays on my chest and lets me pet him. My environmental science teacher Mr. T had one and he said that he was very docile as did one of my friends at Go Lizards. But he hatched his so I don't know if that makes a difference. :o
So I went to the Kansas reptile exo in Overland park yesterday and I made another impulse buy... So my to be panther chameleon will have to wait. :o
But it's okay because the columbian black and wihite tegu is super friggin' adorable. I'll try to post pictures later today. :D
Lol She is very pretty (I love anoles :>). Speaking of anoles have you ever heard of a Cuban false chameleon? They are a species of anole that have a chameleon like face it's so cute!! :D
I don't want a hive... And I don't kill them... I actually tried to save the bee from dying by getting it out of the rain and warming it up. It just happened to die during the day.
Last night I put four dendelions in the critter carrier and I noticed that it's "tounge" was inside the flower so I figured that's what it ate but I wasn't sure.
Lol No I'm not feeding them to a cham nor am I taking them from a hive. What happened was I was bringing in groceries yesterday and I saw this bug on the ground on it's back soaked and barley moving so I went inside and grabbed on of critter carriers and put her in it so she could dry out and...
Well my veiled passed away last month (she was very young and most likely sick when I bought her) so I'm saving up for a panther chameleon and if I end up getting a monitor I'll probably get a jobenisis because they are gorgeous and super cute! :D
