When I was doing framing (construction) I had a co-worker quit work and he pulled his kids from school for 2 weeks; sold everything and went out with his group and their "Priest" thing (I forgot what he called him lol) and waited for the end of the world in May. He came back to work next month. ;P
I've learned so much from this forum I can't even begin to explain. And I've met lots of new people who know more than I'll probably ever know about chameleons. Also I think I found the forum while browsing through panther chameleons.
I don't know much about the bit but it could just be a bruise? As for the aggression it'd probably be best to separate them or divide the enclosure in half.
I have a bit of a dumb question but how do you ship your herps correctly. Like Chameleons, crested geckos, and Axolotls? I've heard it's pretty easy but I want to make sure I do it right that way my animals don't get harmed during the shipping process.
Hey guys, I have one phenomenal looking male crested gecko. He is a little over a year and still has his tail. He is also a tiger morph. Anyway I'd like to get about $100 for him with a cage. Now to the axolotls. I have a gorgeous pair of axolotls one is male the other female (oooh ;D) they are...
If you don't have much money go around to people that a framing (building houses) and ask them if you could have some scrap wood. Then just get some plywood or wafer board from them then some aluminum screen mesh and build your own. It's really easy and cheap. When I was doing framing we had...
There isn't anything wrong with trading reptiles and other animals. I've traded my fair share of animals and if it is something you really want to do then go for it! :D
I'm confused on the basking temp because one link says to make the basking no more than 76 for a baby and another says to keep it 85; I really don't want to fry the little guy. I'm asking all this so I can set up the tank before I get one and have the temperatures correct.
Wow they are hungry little turds. XP They'll eat more than my pair of leos I had. Anyway a 5.0 UVB right? I'll probably just start buying in bulk.
What I'm mainly after is what temperature should the basking be the temperature of the cage, how many crickets I should feed it, how often should I dust his feeders. With and without D3.
