Hi, I have a 8 month old female veiled chameleon (translucent). She is VERY small for her age, around 7 inches long from head to tail. Lately, her colors have been looking gray and unattractive... She does not have anything in the room that could stress her, and there have not been any recent...

I don't either, but sometimes my pets sneak in or someone leaves the door open... :mad:

Your chameleon may be dark because there is something stressful in the room. Do you have any pets? My chameleon was dark because she got stressed when my cats and chickens were around.

I use pothos for my chameleon but some of the people on this forum claim it is toxic, though I haven't had any trouble with it.

yeah, she doesn't look gravid... Probably just the temps...

It takes time for a chameleon to get used to you. Some never will. It depends on their personality...:oops:

Also, I have to warn you about the way these chams are handled by UPS. The guy who delivered my chameleon threw her box onto the front porch... I'm not sure how you can miss all the "fragile", "perishable", and "handle with care" stickers. (The guy got yelled at:cool:)

I wrote an email to them and got an answer right away... Though I found out they never answer the phone on weekends. :(

Did he mention where they came from?

I don't know if that's normal. Ask Bleu, I believe her chameleon "Claws" at the cage aswell...
