Really? Freezing them works? I remember hearing the bleach thing a while back so I avoided outside branches all together ... but if I can bake / freeeze them I am totally going to get some clippings ASAP :)
My girlfriend and I are considering painting our apartment, and were curious as to whether or not the fumes may be dangerous to Andrew? We are doing the room adjacent to his room, and can open the windows, so I am thinking it will be ok - any insight would be great :)
Im just getting ready to purchase the supplies - just a normal heating pad from the drug store on a low setting should work correct? And for a small colony ... containers in the 5-10 gallon range?
Thanks so much for the help pssh ... you are awesome!!
Oooo the questions keep coming!
So how many crix = 1 roach ... like how many roaches should i feed to my cham a day? And also, do I dust my roaches like I would my crix?
Ok awesome - well we did redo the cage but i had never seen him down there before ... but he is looking perfectly fine now ... ibv just a mini-freak out on my part ... just love the little man so much :)
Hi Everyone:
I went in today to mist Andrew and he was on the bottom of the cage ... I went to pick him up and he climbed back up the plants very quickly. What should I be looking for to know if he is ok or not?
So i would separate out out the young and raise those to feed off ... using the dry gutload ... and then use veggies for a period before i feed them off?
Cool! and i think the last questions i have is can a panther eat the adults or is it only juvies? and do you need a substrate for them to lay in?
Thanks so much for the info!
so a general dry gutload with some frush fruit/veggies changed a couple times a week? Water dish?
How do they not need cleaning? Do they not make poop (lol) ?
Thats cool!
So ... I need to get a bin with some screen in it?
Also - what do you feed dubias? How do you clean the bins without them all getting out? Are they cleaner than crix?
Can an adult panther eat adult dubias?
This might seem like a weird question - but what size super is appropriate for a 7-month panther? I really have no idea
Also when you say feed more ... say 20 or so would be good? I just dont want the little man to go hungry!
Hi Everyone:
So yesterday I had to run out to the pet store to pick up crickets but they did not have the 2-3-3/4 inchers I have been feeding to Andrew (7-month panther) - they had only 3/8-1-2 inchers ... I've been feeding him about 10+ of the larger ones a day, but how do I compensate for...
