I'm guessing from the picture that top is gonna be chameleon, middle is gonna be drainage/storage and bottom will be the bearded dragon right?
You really have to think this through though, make sure ventilation won't be a problem for the top enclosure. Chameleons are very picky. What will...
Pretty much any insect they find.
They really don't know when their next meal will come, so they have to eat whatever they find. If it's a snail they'll eat it, if it's a mantis they'll eat it, if it's a cricket they'll go for it as well. They're not really picky. If I'm not mistaken some...
I'm no expert with Jacksons, or any other species for that matter, but I'll try to help with what I know.
If I'm not mistaken, Jacksons don't need a lot of supplements like veileds or panthers do. They get most of their stuff from lighting, so you have to make sure you have the right lights...
So, I'm in the process of building a cage for a panther I hope I can get in a couple weeks.
The cage will be in my room, and I was planning on getting a fogger or a rain system to keep the humidity up. I'm guessing you all know that humidity damages walls. Do you guys have any ideas on what...
Do you have live plants in there? That usually helps a lot. Maybe try misting it every now and then.
I would definitely wouldn't recommend you put any kind of substrate in there though, he could ingest it and choke or get parasites from the bacteria.
I'm looking for a baby panther chameleon. I tried a couple local reptile shops and no one had anything. Do any of you know of someone in the SoCal (preferably OC) that has any for sale and doesn't want 300+ for them?
Like it's been said before, buy the enclosure first. Once you have everything set up with branches, trees, leafs, lamps, supplements, etc, start searching for a chameleon. Amazon, eBay and Craigslist are good places to look for all of this stuff you can find it way cheaper than your local...
I have a couple babies that will be ready to ship in a month or so, so if anyone is interested, shoot me a PM.
I will be taking deposits on these little guys, so if you want one make sure to contact me as they will be gone pretty fast!
I will ship via FedEx/Ship Your Reptiles.
Yes, high! lol I live literally a couple streets from the beach so low humidity wouldn't be much of an issue I would assume.
I have a couple of these actually, I just have to clean them. I think I'm gonna try this too!
Thanks guys!
Do you think it would be a bad idea to do somewhat what you described with the tupperware but in a glass terrarium? Maybe lay it on it's side to make it long? It would be just for 2 or 3 days until I can get a screen cage or figure something out
Hey guys,
I have a friend that is about to move out and his ambilobe layed some eggs a couple monts back, they hatched, but since she's moving out of the country she asked me to keep them.
They hatched about 7 weeks ago and they're the tiniest cutest little things I've seen in my whole...
Food comma?
But yeah, it's not good. Could you fill this out so we can help out a little more?
Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - The species, sex, and age of your chameleon. How long has it been in your care?
Handling - How often do you handle your chameleon?
Feeding - What are you feeding...
Petsmart people suck at everything. If you go ask them how many legs a dog has they'll probably say five. The only advantage is that most of their things are cheaper since they buy a lot.
You are right.
He did tape them. And they were in a cage. So this was no accident.

I'm in no way, shape, or for trying this, it's just a thought that came to my mind.
What are the risks of mating chameleons from the same clutch, or from different clutches but same parents?
I assume there's the obvious risk of malformations and whatnot, but is there anything else that...
