What a difference 3 months make....

Interesting that when you see your pets day in and day out you don't realize how much they have grown until you weigh and measure them.

Rip Lewis and don't know why.

Sorry for your loss. Get back in the saddle and if you really want to know what happened, you could think about getting an necropsy from the vet. If you plan on acquiring another cham, be sure to disinfect and clean up all your equipment to prevent any contamination.

Very nice shot! He looks like a great male! Here is my male, it still amazes me how they go through growth spurts. Chris, check this dealer out, in Japan so obviously not to buy, but good pictures to look at none the least. Chameleon Pet Store in Japan (Loving the Yellow Giants!)...

I love how you people hardly ever respond to my posts!!!

I'm sorry since when is this forum a popularity contest? People will reply when they feel like contributing to a topic. I'm sorry if you feel cheated, but people can respond to whatever topic they want. Come on now, I hardly think its a personal attack on you. Sometimes people just have...

    Surprising Security Breech

Brad I just tell my partner to get over it and deal with the bugs. After 8 years he has grown to live with my need for repiles (and feeders). He hates crickets and roaches, but have a fond love for silkies - hornworms freak him out. I love it when they spit at him. - bah.

    Cricket Murder

I dont understand why some crazy scientist doesnt genetic engineer some wingless crickets! They managed to make flightless fruitflies - now get to work! If someone came up with wingless crickets we would all sleep better at night. Although I do hear that camel crickets are chirpless and much...

    Cricket enclosures

Can someone come up with a cool DIY setup tha separates cricket poop from the crickets for easy cleanup please? I hate that chore. I was thinking about doing a setup similar to silkworms where there is a screen raised from the bottom so that waste drops through but not the crickets.

    Surprising Security Breech

Dubia's aren't fliers but they do and will in fact gain short distances and heights by fluttering. There is a difference between flying and fluttering, but they both accomplish the task of getting out and moving from point A to point B. That said, I hate all roaches - cant handle them - gross...

    Praying Mantis

Royden, You may want to read "The Chameleon Panther" by Fugerson, Murphy, Ramanamanjato, and Raselimanana. Turn to page 15, Behavioral Regulation of Nutrition. Although little is known about nutritional requirements in captivity, the experiment shown using senegals depicting prey preference...

    Praying Mantis

Hi all - dont forget that in addition to a healthy and nutritious food source for our cham's, chameleons always need a varied diet for personal well-being. Although it may seem pointless to feed a mantid (a feeder that eats another feeder) the addition of such a feeder enhances the overall...

    My lil boy Irwin

Sean, I'll get some enclosure pics tomorrow for ya. Currently I basically have 2 (2x2x6) enclosures connected to form a 4x2x6. I also have a free range setup that he hangs out on when I am home, but this is not his permament spot. Nate
