    male veiled chameleon not eatting

most of us on here to have the best results with reptisun 5.0 tube florescents (not the colied ones that plug into a reg socket, you DO NOT want to use those for chams- maybe your vet wanted you to get rid of that?) also, there has been some discussion of it but you may want to avoid mice and...

    New Veiled Chameleon Owner

Also, your little cham is probably scared of you.... Yes, it is normal for it to hide. They change colors for a reason ;p If you make any changes to the enclosure your cham may stop eating or go hide or become unadjusted for a bit, maybe a day or so.

    New Veiled Chameleon Owner

took my Cham about a day to adjust. Not a week or a month. But then I had been a member of these forums and listened to what people told me and did what they told me to do. and I agree with Brad. Join the forums to learn. Few people don't know what they are talking about. Others, you will...

    my terranium setup!!

the heater warm water setup is optimal, really expensive, and nice - like wow that you set that up for a small cage probably for your first chameleon. My temps are about the same here at night so I have a ceramic bulb - otherwise the same setup. I just recieved my thermostats today so I'm...

Thinking about stepping it up in the chameleon world!

My panther male was so happy to get out of his tiny cup from overnight shipping that he crawled right onto my hand just to get up! I had everything setup for about a week before I got him so I could make sure everything was ready, especially temps and humidity. He didn't eat the first day but...
