Phoenix works are ok to feed daily along with crickets or any other staple feeder. The added calcium is great for growing chameleons when they are prone to MBD. I raised multiple chameleons on them and they have all done great.
Need to rehome my 7 month old panther cross male (nosy be 50%, ambanja 25%, ambilobe 25%) asap as I just got a second job and will also be leaving to the active military sooner than expected. I would like to try and sell him locally at first $225 for him and $100 for his setup $325 altogether...
I found a katydid in my backyard for the first time this afternoon and I live in the central Florida area. I have also seen mantids around here before. As others have said, it's all about looking in areas without much human disturbance. Green grasshoppers, dragonflies, mantids, and katydids are...
My panther is on a food strike eating only superworms at the moment. I would be very careful with them. Chameleons tend to get addicted to them quite easily.
My first was a male veiled chameleon I got from a local pet shop. Then shortly thereafter a male panther from the Daytona show. Don't have either anymore but I do have male and female panther crosses.
I've heard of her same crosses but it's merely a coincidence. My local pet shop hatched these out themselves. Here is a picture of the nosy be father and ambilobe/ambanja mother.
And thanks for those that wished me luck in the Military!
Here's some updated pictures of my panther. He's 50% nosy be, 25% ambilobe and 25% ambanja. A little over 6 months now and he's huge at around 12-13 inches. I'm sad to say that I'll have to get rid of him next month as I'm leaving to the military in January. Already found a buyer who's...
I have an approximately 3 month old panther cross female for sale, 50% nosy be, 25% ambilobe, 25% ambanja. A trade involving her didn't fall through so now she's up for sale to a forum member. The father is 100% nosy be and the mother is ambilobe and ambanja. She's currently eating 2-3 week old...
Congrats! I have a local pet shop that specializes in reptiles around where I live and have always thought it'd be a cool experience to work there, even just a couple times a week.
