My male panther is around 9 or 10 months and my female is over a year old now. No matter what I try they just won't breed. I have tried placing them in each others cages, free ranging them and on a tree outside but if it's not the male puffing up its the female. Has anyone got any advice they...
So I've been a little lazy the past few weeks after coming back from my holidays, I was supposed to put my male panther into his big boy reptibreeze cage but have been putting it off. This morning I noticed his nose wasn't quite so prominent and upon closer inspection it looks like the start of...
I think it allows for a more natural way of living.
They sounds great, sorry to hear they never caught on. If it were in Europe they would have been a big hit it's just what we need!
I would love a fully planted enclosure for my chams! But it's just not practical with them being in screen cages at the moment :(
As for the mould and fungus problems, there is always the option to make it bio active. I have kept my monitor on a bio active substrate for over a year now and...
Agreed do not trimthey need them for climbing . BUT my female actually lost quite a few nails when frantically trying to get out of her enclosure some time last year, they got caught on the screen top (after letting her out to free range she became and explorer and hated her cage) and now they...
My male is about the same age and going through the same thing! It's previously happened with my female panther and male veiled about the same time too. Must be an age thing :D
Ok cool. So I'll go ahead and order them then and make judgement when they arrive. I was looking to see if they were poisonous but couldn't find anything.
Those are some nice looking chams! The panther looks just like my male! Do they live in the same cage?
She is a pig and would probably eat anything I put infront of her lol. Today she tried her first small piece of orange :p

I've been trying to think of some different food options or treats I could feed my chams. Whilst scouring ebay I came across elephant hawk moths and larvae for sale. These things look to be quite big but if they were of suitable size could I feed them to my veiled? They would be far too big for...
I checked and they are fine. All my chams will eat any house spiders I find. As I live in Scotland there are no spiders that pose any threat, a false widow would be the worst but there have only been a few reported sightings of these.
Thanks for the tips! I actually have a pothos in the cage, never thought to use that lol. I've took a cutting and placed it in a jar of water and feed outside the cage to get it going. Are there any other fast growing ones suitable? I've found a site that does a tonne but not sure which would be...
