So me and a good friend of mine are getting ready for the Wheaton reptile show this upcoming weekend! We started making custom furnishing for reptile cages mainly chameleons. We made a bunch of custom perches with corian bases check them out and tell me what you guys think???
so I posted something about my female veiled yesterday and since then I found her digging a bit in her cage I have set up a separate site for her to lay eggs when should I move her into this??
yeah it can be harsh, I live in the western suburbs (downers grove) and yes I have heard of it but have never been, and thanks I am trying to raise them right:D
Living in the midwest can be tough in the winters but we are finally getting some nice weather! So some of my guys are getting to go outside (under close watch) just wanted to share some of my chams outdoor adventures with these pictures
Thanks guys!!! hearing your guys experiences makes me feel better I did so much research on these guys before I got them I have wanted chams since I was about 15 and I am coming on 30 and finally did it last year! I love them so much I just wanna make sure I am doing everything I can to make...
thanks!!!! I worked hard on it he seems to dig it:) I think the cup is finally in a good spot I just watched him take his 3rd trip to the cup and eat!!! here is a newer pic of Sid as well
Thanks! This is my first female chameleon so I am trying to do it right I have been very nervous about her laying eggs she is eating and drinking well and I have her egg laying bin set up so I am hoping for the best
I do have a bin for her:D As far as I know she has never laid eggs yet she has not been digging or showing sign's of being gravid. Thanks for the advice:) unfortunately since she was a rescue and was in a bad spot when I got her I am not certain of her age either
So I rescued this girl about 3 months ago and she has been doing great since she has been in my care, but the past couple of days she has had what looks like a big dry spot along the side of her belly maybe getting ready for a shed?but has anyone seen this before?? is this something I should be...
