You might consider an ultasonic humidifier. You can get a decent one at walmart or riteaid for about $35. I know when the humidity dips into the low thirties her, my humidifier will have to work for 7 or 8 hours to get the humidity up into the 50's. That's in a closed room! One of the best...

    Can/do panther chameleons swim?

If you look at the last picture in the set you'll see the water ripples left by it's tail. It looks like it was going at a fairly good clip.

    Can/do panther chameleons swim?

It seems like instead of just being able to survive a fall and getting to shore, they actuall enjoy or at least don't mind at all taking to water. It just shows how much we still have to learn about these animals

    Question about Panther

be careful with the d3. I would give it no more than twice a month. Use calcium without d3 the rest of the time. As long as your temps don't get below 60 at night, your fine without the emmitter. I wish I could get my temps in the 60's at night. Good luck. david

In case he has an infection or is about to get one, you might try using Teramycin ointment. I don't believe this can do any harm to him even if it's some other problem. You can get it at farm supply stores or in some pet shops. The only pet shop I've found it in is our locally owned pet store...

I see the Bradypodian making some advances. I think if anyone takes the time to look up pictures of thamnobates, damaranum, pumilum, thamnobates or occidentalis, it would quickly rise to No. 2 at least. These are stunning chams. If I could only convince everyone else! Ha
