My store doesnt stock them so I had to pay in advance for the order, but they are trying one more time, which I appriciated. Im just clad I checked them before I left the store.
So, I ordered my silkworms from my local pet store so that I would have recourse if something goes wrong, and thankfully I did. They arrived moldy and mostly dead. The pets store told me to take them and they would order new ones for next week. I wasn’t about to feed my cham nasty sick...
Thanks everyone. I ordered mine yesterday. As for the Wax worms, the reptile store i went to a few weeks ago told me the same so I stopped the wax and have been sticking to crickets, meal worms and super worms, which is why I wanted to add the silks.
I have a question about feeding my approx 6month old veiled silk worms. So far he has eatin crickets, mealworms, wax worms, and super worms. I want to give silk worms a try, and think it wll be fun for my daughter as well. but the question is can he eat them once they turn into moths?
Very cute little babies. And lucky you got only girls... Next litter becareful and make sure if you ed up with boys you seperate them from mommy alittle early, they will breed with the mom and sisters if left together too long. Baby hedgies are tonsof fun nd these ones look like sweet cuties!:)
This is my chams firt shedd since I got him and I have a couple questions. About how long does the sedding take? Does their appetite slow down? Or should I give him extra? Anything I should know if he doesnt completely shed?

Pasquell has never hissed and will eat worms out of my hand, he's pretty friendly even while purple he still seems to want out and about, and when he does come out hes happy to climb my arms, shirt, hair etc...
