Thanks Chris. Looks like it's a male Kinyongia multituberculata.

Thanks for the link. I'm not sure that I'm going to purchase him, but it's worth learning something new regardless.

I think my girl is too old to breed. She's wild caught, so I'm not totally sure of her age, but she's slowing down, and I don't want to risk her healthy with another pregnancy. The Fischer's is at Pet Traders on Portage. He's $129, wild caught, and they've had him about a week. He's...

    cham dosent eat cricket??

I'll call you just after noon tomorrow. I was referring to your Panther being young. He's probably eating the same size food as your Werner is able to. Winnipeg Reptile has a lot of different worms in stock, and he also orders every two weeks if you tell him what you want.

I was in a local petstore today, and they had a "one horn fisher's (sic) Chameleon". Can someone tell me how to identify what sort of Fischer's it is, and how I could identify the sex? Also, I see that they are montane, so would they have approximately the same temps and humidity as Sternfeldi...

    cham dosent eat cricket??

That's all he's feeding is mealworms, so not ideal.

    cham dosent eat cricket??

You can get the following from Casey at Winnipeg Reptiles (where you bought your Panther): Roaches, super worms, phoenix worms, hornworms, butterworms, and crickets. Sometimes the hornworms will be too big for him, as he is still young. You can call Casey and ask what he is feeding the...

    cham dosent eat cricket??

I'll call you tonight to help you. I know where you can get some other bugs to feed, and some better food to feed your crickets. What's your first name?

    BEST live plants?

Money plants are NOT. Hibiscus (especially the flowers) seem to be pretty popular with some veileds. Pothos, schefflera and ficus are all safe, but I don't know if chams like to eat them. I guess it depends on the animal.

    Heat mat?

BS, unless you're trying to cook him. They try to sell you everything "reptile related", and if it ends up killing your animal they take no responsibility. Many people learn the hard way -- it's a good thing that you came here to ask and learn :)

I'm sorry for your loss. RIP Norman.

    look what i made

Yes, this was my concern as well. Something that could injure him if he climbed down there, or something that could become ill if exposed to the chams fecal matter?

    Amy Winehouse

I've never listened to her music or heard much about her, except for her addiction problems. I am deeply saddened by her death, especially at her young age. I didn't realize she was only 27. It's deaths like these that make me hope there is reincarnation or rebirth, so troubled young troubled...

When I got my chatty Bare Eyed Cockatoo, my Pionus stopped talking. The 'too doesn't let anyone get a word in!

    My Dusky Pionus.

Interesting that you have two that talk, as they generally aren't that talkative. Mine said "hello" the second I met her, so she sealed the deal herself. Are you planning on getting others? Is there a difference between the different types (are they subspecies?)? I heard the Maxis are not...

    Guess what I am.

OMG I guessed right! I'm always wrong, so I never post. The one time I'm right, Chris beats me to it. Is there a second place prize? :) Are these babies grumpy, or are they too young yet? They're very cute.
