I would also say definitely try a shower. We found a large branch (@ 4 in diameter, and 4 ft long) in our nearby woods that we prop in the shower. We aim the shower head at the top of the branch, and put the chams toward the bottom, and let them do what they want. They LOVE it...
We have both, and absotively posilutely LOVE both of them!!!!!
The panthers have their own "likeable" attributes as do the jacksons.
One thing though - you never know until you have your own. Each cham is different with their own personalities. We have a female panther that is completely...
After re-reading it over a few times, it appears to me that you soaked your calcium powder.
I would definitely replace it if that is the case. It would not be possible to coat your feeders sufficiently unless it is very powdery. (And since it is Calcium + D3, I am assuming you only use it 1...
Your question is a bit confusing, if I might say. I'm not really sure what happened.
"bottle of calcium with d3 in my bag in the tray where all the dripper water leaked off the live and fake plants and through the soil and down into the tray which got in the bottle and soaked it"...
Its all ok :)
She is just fine and happily came out of the hole eventually. We guess she was just resting.
She had already laid a clutch back in April and confused us then as the next day she did a similar thing by digging another hole but not laying.
Well two days ago she laid another...
So I recently posted about our female laying eggs but today is two days after her laying and she looks to have been asleep in the hole all day now, her head is visible but her eyes have been closed all day. We are very worried, has this happened to anyone else before. She does seem to be alive...
Good luck, they look beautiful. Our Panther gave us 21 in April and then laid more 2 days ago.
The second clutch look very tiny apart from two so we are thinking that maybe only the two will be fertile but we are new at this and will wait and see.
Good Luck and it will be interesting to see...
Wow, that is the most amazing thing ever, they are so tiny :) Well done and good luck.
We currently have eggs from our Panthers and 11 months is a long time to wait, people are amazed when we tell them how long it takes for them to develop and hatch. Cant wait for ours arrive. Hopefully at the...
what is it?
Wow I just went to the website to check it out...sounds great.
Our Panther often loses his colors, we think its due to the cold winter months when he isnt outside catching real sunshine rays :) This maybe worth a try!
:) He is adorable, we love him to pieces. He has a great appetite and drinks wonderfully...he is nice and active and wow are his horns growing fast. When he eats he always shows red under his chin. We love his face, he has such a character, he seems very inquisitive and he shed last week too :)
Thank you so much, we haven't took the bin out the cage :) we leave it in at all times tbh.
When would you worry? like would you think its normal for her eyes to be closed? I think thats what scared me the most, when we know she is going to lay then we cover her over and leave her. So we had...
Hey guys,
just wondering if any of you have dealt with this before? Our female Panther laid a clutch of eggs back in April, (apx24) the day after she laid she was digging another hole but didnt actually lay anything.
Two days ago she laid another clutch (29) Yesterday she starts digging again...
Fruit flies are an excellent appetite stimulant when they are that young.
I don't think you need the heat bulb for him. Jackson's don't require the same heat as other chams. A regular light bulb is sufficient.
Do you have any other pets? With the top of the cage at 5 feet from the...
