My only worry would be him falling and hurting himself. Make sure you have foliage at the bottom (like buy a bunch of fake leaves at Micheal's) so that he can fall on a bed of leaves, not a hard surface when he looses his footing.
Personally, I'd let him climb as much as his little heart desires!
I currently have a PowerSun UV mecury bulb
(one of these: http://www.petmountain.com/product/reptile-incandescent-bulbs/107801/zoo-med-powersun-uv.html)
Is this a good bulb or should I get a fluorescent bulb like the ReptiSun 5.0 UVB
(this one...
Before I got George, I read that veilds do not eat crickets naturally, they are worm-eaters.
I fed George silkworms, super worms, mealworms and the occasional waxworm. He had crickets only about once every 1-2 weeks.
He also ate spinach, kale and broccoli.
I don't know if this is "good...
Make sure it's dead when the cham swallows it becuase I read that superworms can bite the inside of their stomach if they swallow them when still alive.
oh my gosh, that is exactly what I needed thank you sooo much!
I really appreciate it!
I was looking in the wrong spot this whole time!!!
I can go into the store with confidence now. I'm so excited!
ahhhhhh that makes sense. So after the flap, between the legs?
geez these questions are getting silly :P
i just want to make sure I get a boy becuase a girl can't be named Pablo!
Hmmm... Maybe the pictures I looked at were wrong then, I will show some examples of what I saw:

Scroll down to "Female Ambilobe Panther Chameleon Available" and you will see they have bumps...
George hated being misted.
Make sure to use reverse osmosis water too so that you don't get calcium build up on your flora and enclosure!
The water in Calgary is so full of minerals, it made his enclosure look gross so i switched to R/O water and problem solved!
I'm sure that fluoride...
I am going to get Pablo tomorrow and through research I have discovered that panthers do not have spurs like veils do! (I thought all chams had spurs)
I learned that the hemipene bulge is the best way to tell them apart.
I looked at pictures all over the internet and it seems that females...
I don't see a problem with that. They were probably sitting there on a stakeout for hours and hours. Eventually they got bored enough. Give em a break - they're only human!
I taught George how to eat from my fingers. I would grab a cricket, hold it and he would eat it. That way they never got loose in the house. That's what worked for me!
When I fed mealworms I used a small container and held it up to him and he could pick as many as he pleased.
Crickets were...
I contacted JJ reptiles in Calgary and they have some baby ambilobes so I'm gonna go check them out this weekend. Hopefully I find a nice match and if so, I'll add some photos!
I love the classified selections but in Canada, bringing a critter over the border might end up costing too much...
Rest in peace little buddy. :(
He passed May 2009 at the age of 7. He was so friendly, he was like a dog. He would come running (as chameleons do) out of his cage when I came to sit with him!
The second pic is Lilo and George, yes they got along very well. They were friends. When George...
