How Long can silkworms go without food?

Not sure. But you should always be gutloading your feeders. The nutrients they gain from the food you give them will be transfered to your cham via ingestion. Gut loading is essential to keeping chameleons healthy.

How many Cigarette smokers are here?

These products are a very good thing. Although they are sill addictive, they are much less harmful then smoking a real cigarette. Also, hand to mouth contact definitely is a factor when talking about cigarette addictions, and anyone who smokes knows that. Those actions are psychologically...

Why is my cham not working properly?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eorN0-K-UzE&feature=related Does it look like this? If it does then don't worry about it. They use it as a way to mimic leaves (I think). It's completely natural.

    Veiled Diet Questions

Oh, of course. I will definitely be varying his diet with crickets, and other worms (I don't have access to roaches). But I just wanted to know if silk worms can fed as their main diet. Which I'm assuming is a "yes" from you. I will deffinitly offer the little guy various fruits, lettuce(not...

    Veiled Diet Questions

Can silkworms can be used as a staple diet for a 5-6 month old veiled? If so how much should I give him? I've also read that veiled chameleons eat vegies. Does he need to be fed vegies? Or can he maintain the same level of health on a carnivorous diet (with a good gutload)?

Humidity and Temps for a veiled?

Hey everyone. Today I bought a roughly 5-6 month old veiled chameleon. Just need to know what the humdity and temps should be at. Right now I'm keeping his humidity around 50% and the temps are 84 at the basking spot and mid 70s around the cage.
