Not sure. But you should always be gutloading your feeders. The nutrients they gain from the food you give them will be transfered to your cham via ingestion. Gut loading is essential to keeping chameleons healthy.

Can silkworms can be used as a staple diet for a 5-6 month old veiled? If so how much should I give him? I've also read that veiled chameleons eat vegies. Does he need to be fed vegies? Or can he maintain the same level of health on a carnivorous diet (with a good gutload)?

Hey everyone. Today I bought a roughly 5-6 month old veiled chameleon. Just need to know what the humdity and temps should be at. Right now I'm keeping his humidity around 50% and the temps are 84 at the basking spot and mid 70s around the cage.
