i will take some new ones tomorrow and post them, i have had the camera pointed at my snakes latley(i go through phases)... im really bummed, i think they would make great looking babies. He used to go absolutely crazy for her when he would see her by accident(she was too young), now i dont even...
This is mildly frustrating... but after what seems like forever for my pair of ambanjas to reach appropriate breeding age and weight, i pulled the divider out between their cages today only to find the exact opposite of what i expected. I thought for sure that my male would be all over her and...
Beautiful Python, i love the color. Are they tame enough to handle frequently, or are they more like chameleons in that respect?
since we are posting snakes, here are my two boa's Rambo and Rocky(she shed right after this photo)
i wish my neighbors would leave their chameleons on the fence, lol,.
i love the reds he is showing, very nice almost rusty color, it has a good contrast
i have bought panther chameleons at 2 months before. They were my first too pets ever, i was in the 5th grade. They lived and breed successfully multiple times. But i have purchased 3-4 month old chams as well and had considerable issues fixing problem most likely caused by poor husbandry. The...
i would suggest a bigger cage if its within your means, and live plants are a good idea. Mine is about the same age and pretty restless as well, and hes in a custom 2'x2'x4' cage. But he really doesn't need a cage that big.
At the Pomona Super Reptile show, LLL was selling Package enclosures like a terrarium with substrate, a water bowl, and a hiding rock or plant. I noticed one that had used looking stuff in it and it made me wonder about the company's integrity. Kind of relating to the topic, once again sorry to...
the circle of life, lol, that was an expensive snack for your male. Did he have funny eating patterns latley?
Right on Lazarus, i guess you really can say he is the best of the bunch. Lets see a pic of the little guy.
Just curious, how many eggs were there?
Some of them looked good, but i noticed one package that had a very used looking water bowl in it and it was with the new looking packages and not labeled any different. Then when i really started looking at them i got kind of paranoid and i ended up just putting my new boa in the cage with my...
i have a hard time too getting my guy to fire up, but every once in a while the pink camera my girlfriend has will piss him off, but really it depends on his mood, i have tried boy chams, girl chams, mirrors, colors, and most of the time he could care less.
one night, for no apparent reason mine kamakazied off the top of the windows, missed the sofa and dropped 7 ft, bounced off the carpet and kept running. Needless to say i felt like a terrible chameleon parent that night... but the moral of the story was he was fine, didnt even phase him.
there...
just a warning, chameleons are very sneaky, like little ninjas, time and time again clyde has amazed me with his ability to climb and maneuver the impossible(or so i thought), just a warning...
yep, i have 1/2" pvc coated mesh that is great for climbing and sleeping(apparently), only downside is you have to cup feed, but i have a large cage so i do anyway...
when they were babies i had them in a cage with 1/4" steal mesh, and they liked that too, never had any feet problems
Its been a while since i updated photos, i tried using different camera modes but i dont have a lot to work with... Enjoy!
