Hahaha, mine caught a superworm sideways today and had a heck of a time actually getting it into his mouth. He used one of his front legs to kind of help cram it in there, it was cute.

Yeah I never go NEAR mine when he's asleep, except to quietly look at him (sleeping chameleons are adorable.) The one and ONLY time mine has ever bit me was because I accidentally woke him up. I think that none of them are "morning people"!

Males definitely have the spur, plus more pronounced colouring/striping and a bigger casque- although I guess if you've not got another chameleon to compare her (him?) to... I can see why you'd wonder! I hear that males also tend to be more aggressive and move around more, but again, all cham...

Haha no, doesn't hurt, just feels sticky. It's really strange. Getting it in the face isn't entirely pleasant, but definitely isn't painful. :p

Well, he doesn't seem to mind his enclosure... and he does this sort of thing even when he's NOT in his enclosure, too, so unless the whole giant setup I have going all the way up to the ceiling is wrong... I don't know if that could be it. We usually just use the cage for when it's time for...
