Is This a Male or Female Veiled Chameleon?

Hi, I recently purchased a Male veiled chameleon from Tiki Tiki Reptiles at the Las Vegas Reptile Expo. The day after I realized I didn't see any spurs on the back feet of him, so I went back to the reptile expo and spoke to workers. They gave me the whole talk about the spurs and how small they...

    How to fasten feeding cup!

I am having a really hard time trying different ways to fasten my feeding cup. I don't have any sturdy place to put it in the plant. I prefer to use the disposable plastic drink cups. I have tried velcro and it isn't working. I am trying to experiment with maybe some sort of hooks! Does...

    shaky and balance aint great

You need a calcium only supplement like Calcium from Repcal without vitamin d3 to be using almost every feeding and a Calcium with d3 twice a month. You should only be using Miner-all O twice a month as well. You are not giving your cham enough calcium and providing too many minerals I believe...

    shaky and balance aint great

I don't know much about Panther chameleons, but I'm pretty sure you need to use calcium supplements... It looks like all you have are multivitamin supplements and no calcium. You are overdosing your cham on vitamins and not providing any calcium! That's most likely why your cham is having a...

    Keeping Chameleons on Porch?

That is true, it is easy to steal them. My bedroom is right by the door and I live in a pretty safe neighborhood, I think they will be safe. I may try it for a day and see how the temps are and how they handle it. Thanks all!

    Keeping Chameleons on Porch?

The patio is not screened or anything, but it is shaded for most of the day. I think at some point during the day probably in the morning and evening there is some direct sunlight. They seem to like it, so I was thinking of maybe letting them stay outdoors a couple of times a week. Here...

Hello, right now I have a male and female veiled chameleon, they are about 3 months old now. I currently have them both in a 30x18x18 screen cage and they seem to really enjoy each others' company for the moment they spend a lot of time near each other and follow each other around. I was...

    Dusting multiple times a day?

    Something is in her eye!!

That's a good possibility too. Right now I'm using powersun, but I think next week I'm going to get the reptisun 5.0 and a 60 w basking bulb. If it is the light causing problems, is it reversible? Or has the damage already been done
