I am so bummed. 1. because you lost Pepper and I know how hard it is to lose one of your kids. 2. I will be in the Seattle area next month and I was looking forward to meeting up with other chameleon crazy people. Maybe we will have to meet up at the show in October???
Wish you the best...
what are good pygmies to start with and which are the most decorative/ or interesting? I have had Panthers now for almost 3 yrs. From what I have read in previous posts, 2-3 females with a single male is a good community?
We shouldn't give up on them all, I have a local Petco that I buy crickets from. Last summer, during the Philadelphia flower show one of their customers came into the shop with a chameleon that "they had found". They were purchasing inappropriate husbandry items and the sales clerk was trying...
marty, you and your systems are great. I have a RO system that I purchased for the ref tanks but also use for my mist king, sits next to the laundry room sink hooked up and is super easy to use and cost less than $100 from a local aquarium store.
being a parent, animal owner, etc is not easy when it is done right. As a mother it is not fun to say "no" to your child but that is what responsibility is, not easy. You need to say no to your mom, unfortunately it sounds like perhaps you need to be the responsible party in this relationship...
Hi-
I'm moving back home to the Seattle area next month, seems that a lot of members on here live in the area. Just want to see if we have enough to start a monthly or bi-monthly gathering and or group????
So funny, I am in the process of moving and now I am thinking about how many rooms should I get in the next place to support this amazing love of Chams? Thinking I need more rooms than originally planned, may need another Ambanja.:D
I have dart frogs and have chameleons, neither the two shall meet! They have different needs and to care for all of them appropriately, it is required that they have their own worlds (vivs/ cages). If they were together and I had problems, then all of them would be affected verses just one and...
Actually, none of the kids would eat them in the end anyway. Did not matter how hungry they got they were having no part of them and I am actually relieved.
Hey. I had some shipped to Jersey during one of our recent crazy heat waves, between missed deliveries and the weekend I didn't get them for a week =they were all alive still. I don't think you can kill them if you try, all that just to get eaten in the end any way
