    Heating suggestions?

I read somewhere that the night bulbs/red light bulbs can disturb a chameleon’s sleep. What do y’all suggest to keep the temperature from dropping too low? It’s usually around 70 degrees in my house during the summer. I worry about my new little guy getting too cold. I thought about getting a...

    Vomiting panther chameleon

No he doesn’t open his mouth at all and he only holds up his nose in the air for about a minute after drinking. I can’t really see his saliva well enough. Tried to get him to eat but he wasn’t interested. Cage temperature was 75. I turned his basking light on but he flinched and puffed up at...

    Vomiting panther chameleon

I got home to check on him and he still just seems thirsty I’ve been slowly letting him have water. Although he started sitting with his nose in the air and now I’m concerned he’s got some sort of respiratory infection. I’ve only had him for about a week so I’m still learning his behavior...

    Vomiting panther chameleon

He was okay when I left for work this morning so I’m hoping it was just too much water at once. I turned the dripper on and let him drink for just a couple of minutes before I turned it off. I’ll do the same this afternoon to make sure he doesn’t drink too much again. I also misted the enclosure...

    Vomiting panther chameleon

Hello! I’ve had my male panther chameleon, Danny, for a little over a week now. He’s been eating super worms, crickets, mealworms, and wax worms. Although recently he did go off his crickets. I’ve been misting throughout the day and earlier this afternoon I turned on the dripper. He drank for...

    Vomited

Had a similar experience only with a dripper. He drank for a long time. I had only been misting today so this was the first time the dripper had been on for today. A few minutes later he threw it all back up.

Question about a new panther chameleon

I’ve always tried to steer clear of petland but when the previous owner asked my to take him in I couldn’t say no. He drank for several minutes when I turned the dripper on. I came back half an hour later to turn it off and he threw up something clear with small half-digested worm bits. :( is...

Question about a new panther chameleon

I’m very excited to see what he will look like. I just went out and got some reptivite. He’s pacing a bit so I opened up his cage in case he feels like coming out. He came from petland and I know they don’t have the best reputation. I also couldn’t find out where they get their chameleons. The...

Question about a new panther chameleon

had just set some plants near the opening of his cage so he could hang out on them if he wanted. He’s still weird about coming to my hand or actually touching my skin. Any recommendations on what kind of vitamins I should give him?
