He looks Tamatave to me. I work with them and have a bunch of babies myself.
Now the most important info your gonna get about Tamataves. Most are very late bloomers. So be very patient. It can be at 1 year before his colors come in.

After thinking about it, curt is moving and may have sold his babies to Erik to resale or you may have swapped pics of who the sire is.

From a hatchling yes but after a month or so the tail base on males can shrink down a bit so they look female.
Your girl can still be a boy. That's why it's best to wait till they're around 2.5-3 months of age before buying.
This guy is 3 months old. I'm amazed at the amounts of purple on him.
It's hard to get a good pic of him because every time he sees the camera he lightens up.

In my town the water district sends out reports, like every 6 months, showing what's in the water. What it has and doesn't have and at what percentage.

That not entirely true. Their is key minerals that are found in water. Ro systems remove just about everything. Calcium, magnesium, potassium are just some that naturally occurs by region.
The human body processes those differently then by supplementing and diet.
