    Baby Melleri Madness!!

@jpowell86 Do you have any idea on what it would take to get one of these over the boarder and into Canada? Cost wise I am asking, not including the price of the animal. Thanks.

    Chameleon barely moves back legs

I strongly recommend that you study this care sheet. https://www.chameleonforums.com/care/caresheets/veiled/ There are a few things that need to be corrected. 1. Chameleons are arboreal and like to be high up in the trees. There is only one branch to climb on and it provides no cover. They...

    Chameleon barely moves back legs

Please post a pic of your entire enclosure. This could help determine the cause. From what I have seen in your pictures so far I think the enclosure could use some adjustments.

    Bug Hunting

So this weekend we all (wife and 3 kids) went out to help Dad (that's me) catch some grasshoppers for Mr.Yosh (my cham). We always gather up 8-10 within a few minutes. Luck was on our side this weekend as my other half (Tamara) found a nice mantis . I was super excited, but I also knew...

    Shedding question

If your cham has had it's eyes closed for 2 weeks, you need to get to another vet ASAP. I would also suggest starting your own thread, started with the "how to ask for help" form filled out. You will be able to recieve more accurate advice...

    Hornworms too big?

1.5" isn't very big. Unless your cham is really small, there shouldn't be a problem..

A couple of questions from the UK.

I would think you could use a lot more ventilation. What is the top made out of? Looks great though.

    Is Francis warm enough ?

I believe that would be fine. Pretty sure I read that its best to go no lower than 55F at night time. Maybe @jannb can confirm this as she is one of the most knowledgeable veiled keepers here...

    Is Francis warm enough ?

A light during the night time will disrupt his / her sleep. Not good to have one. It is also good to have a night time temp drop. As long as it isn't too low.

    Silkworm food...?

The dandelion will only keep them going for a few days at best. They need the chow, or Mulberry leaves... lots of Mulberry leaves.. (y)

Official Enclosure Picture Thread #2 - post your pics!

One big plant in each enclosure would be a good addition. This would allow for nice cover and give time to the other plants. I picked up a Hibiscus this weekend, just over 4 feet tall and it was only $15(canadian).
