We are new Jackson Cham owners as well (arent they wonderful!). Ours (a male) stayed a dark shade for about 2 days. Now he seems to really enjoy his cage (we still need more foliage), 7 days today!! He didn't move much the first couple of days and now seems to pace in the evenings when we have...

Can I feed My Jackson Cham Roaches caught from home?

Thank you. The first and last links do not work :( I will continue to just kill our roaches then (Not like I was going to catch them, that would have been a bfs job lol). I'm worried about the Jackson Cham at the pet store we went to. Seems ALL the information they gave us was incorrect...

We are new Jackson Cham owners and LOVE our little guy. Age - Unknown (about 3-4 inches long NOT including his tale) Wild Caught (WC) Male Name is Buddy We bought him crickets from the pet store and was told we didn't need to buy calcium for the crickets. I'm starting to think the pet...

    I'm a sucker for an orphan--rescuing a veiled cham--please help!

I day here (at work yikes) and read your entire thread. How generous of you two to have taken her in. Your story has brought me to tears. We very recenctly got a Jackson (male, I could never handle live bearthing) and we are very attched. I can't imagine going threw what you both have been...

    New free range pics :)

I really love this! Are all chameleons able to be free ranged? I would love to turn our balcony into "his area"! That would be so fun! Do they go to the restroom in there cage? I'm a germaphope, I can barely handle my Jackson Cham (which is good because he doesn't care to be handled), I...

Thank you! We know he needs more plants. I've been trying to research what he would prefer. My bf thinks he has enough, so its nice to hear someone else agree with me. We do not have AC, and it is always very Humid here (HI). I will definetly read the links you attached. Thank You!

    New Owner of Jackson Chameleon

I was just reading someone elses thread about puddles at the bottom of the cage and needing to setup proper drainage for the chams cage. Will I need to do something similar because I will be setting up the drip system? I haven't noticed any puddles yet, but I he's not getting a constant flow...

Omg. I didn't even think about drainage until reading this! I haven't seen puddels, but I haven't searched for them either. I'm so glad I found this forum.

Thank you David. I can use all the advice videos and blogs! Buddy (our Jackson Chameleons name :) seems happy, he eats drinks and roams. I'm just nervous we're not doing something correctly. We put I'm by the back window thismorning before we left for the day, I hope he likes it and can...

    New Owner of Jackson Chameleon

THANK YOU!!! Would you be able to comment about water? I use a spray bottle and mist him and all the plants 2 or 3 times day but he really hates the water. I have seen him drink the water, but only twice. I'm sure he's drinking when I'm not watching but I'm scared he's not getting enough...

    New Owner of Jackson Chameleon

Unfortanetly, we work during the day so I wouldn't be able to control how long he's in the sun. I'm going to have to go with the open window (except weekends). Will it cause too much stress if we are moving his cage everyday?

    New Owner of Jackson Chameleon

Thank you Chameleonkev. What is a WC Cham? We have a Jackson Chameleon, is this the same? We considered putting him on the balcony, but it gets really really hot out there with direct sunlight most of the day. I know I over heat out there. We may just need to put him near an open window...
