I have the same question! My cham is always like gray and dark green and brown when he is inside the cage, but when I take him out of the cage he explodes with colors such as bright green, aquamarine, yellow, and a little bit of orange. I don't know why! Even in my hand he will change right away...

Crickets are very aggressive and they tend to cannibalism. If they don't have a place where to hide, they will start to kill and eat each other. Egg carton provides good hiding places so they won't see each other face to face. You must provide them with some sort of place to hide.
