the cage u are using is a great cage, but not for a veiled. he should be in an all screen cage.

well what i do for mine since i dont see him drink is spray him directly for a while and i heard that rehydrates them, and it must because he has very white urates.

otherwise get a regular spotlight at a hardware store. i even know of ppl who use regular bulbs. i use a coiled fluorescent in my geckos cage just for photoperiodism and that provides a little heat also. if your looking for heat then i suggest getting either a regular bulb or a cheap spotlight.

ok so i got theidea with the greens. but for a veiled could i try any fruits? for my crestie i have babyfood that i finally got him to not eat as much, down to 1 serving a month and the rest is crix. well would the babyfood work? or should i get the fresh organic fruit?

well they have super power converters that could run alot, almost as much a generator. we do have a wood stove in our basement but no wood and we dont use it cuz of my asthma the wood bothers me severely. we would ahve to get it swept too.
