Soon as I get home from work I will. But I guess you don't know what webbing means.. Like a repured blood vessel humans get. There is no better way to describe it.. I'm sure others will key in and you can wait for a pic if needed.
Victoria does the Huff and Puff thing too.. I think she is just pretenting to be a leaf being hit by a gust of wind in attempt to get them off her so she can eat it. She doesn't change color and on Huff & Puff about every 10 seconds but usually the first one will get them moving along. Then she...
Sure its nothing to worry about here.. Victoria had a near miss fall from her highpoint the other day and caught herself with her tail. Now the odd thing about her tail at this time is if you take her and cut her from nose to tail for this description she has black like webbing thru her skin on...
Since day one Victoria sleeps with here eyes rounded with full color matching her body color, no darkness in eyes and such and rarely do I see her pull her eyes into her socket. This topic leads to the question: Are they suppost to be pulled into your sockets or something?
The other question...
Status Update
4:15 AM: I have been monitoring her thru the night while I do some php/MySQL for work. She has not reproduced any mucus in her nose and woke up just to move to another location in her cage to sleep. She pretty much has 2 zones she like to sleep at. Maybe it was just nasil drip...
I didn't see a answer to a previous question about if she has a place to lay eggs. Accodring to experts, opening of mouth more frequently is a sign of a possilbe need to lay eggs. Is she near the bottom of the cage alot or scratching on the walls, plater pots, anything in a attempt to dig a...
No it was liquid and more like a dib of milk on her nostril not slimey or stringy. But no plants inside produce any milk like sap so I think it was just a runny notril.
Today while moving Victoria from her Screen Cage to her Glass Terrarium I noticed and whipped off a very small amount of white (milky) mucus from her right nostril about the size of a very fine grain of sand. That was all the mucus she had. None in her mouth or other nostril and has not...
While I'm reading this topic I have a question.
Victoria shed yesterday and rapidly all over her body from head to tail. Now she has a little bit on the tip of her tail and have read at another site to remove shedding. Why?
I mean I removed a few flakes that was left on her head but...
I feed Victoria by dropping a worm on one of her vines and she will run down and hunt it. Or I will drop 2 crickets into her enclosure and she will get them on her own. Crickets seem to climb them vines or plants where she will hunt them down. I don't put anything more in there other then...
Atascadero, California, USA. Very hot zone during the day all year round at most and can get very cold in the winter during rain and nights so I keet the Red Heat Light ready for those days that the inside of her habitat gets below 65. Other then that she goes under her lamp when she needs it...
She has 2 cages. One from Lil-Reptile and the Exo Terra. The Exo Terra I keep in the living room and then place here in her main cage (in office) each night or when I don't move here to the Exo-Terra. She dosn't seem to mind her reflection at all and I keep her habitat spot clean at all...
Here is a pic of her with some shedding flakes on her head. The whole ground had tons of shedding all over it and cleaned it out once she finished eating her meal. Has a slight bit of shed around the tip of her tail but obviously very loose and white as it has seperated from her under skin.
Shedding
Well I'll tell you one thing.. I guess pet stores lack providing them UVA. She basked in her light today and her whole body Shed like instantly where she only has like just a few flakes left on the top of her head. She seem really happy and dashes onto her vine that leads to the door...
She is about 3 months old and will place a sand dish behind some follage to conceal the dish. If there was some links or info on building a nest that would be great to see.
Yes she has ZooMed 24" RaptiSun 5.0 UVB and the backing lamp is a ZooMed Retpti Basking Spot Lamp with UVA. She also...
Okay well I went shopping and got my chameleon finally. Was going to get a Panther but this Veiled looked absolutly healthy and just beautiful skin compared to some of the other species that I saw. She's very active and loves to climb onto my hand right off. I'm happy.. She sure looks happy...
Okay got my habitat (reptarium) but not happy with it being a zipper enclosure so I'm going to order a cage. Now Julirs pointed out this cage:
Screen
I'm about to order this one but I have a question reguarding it. It comes in black or silver. Now black is cool but I have this feeling...
