My first thought is she didn’t recover properly after laying that clutch. Chameleons are VERY good at hiding something is wrong until it is too late.
I too fear that she has hit the point of no return. However, we are here to help and we’re going to suggest what we can and hope she will pull...
This is why I usually have multiples to cycle out. When one starts to look bad I put it outside and bring a different one in.
In my experience it’s one of two things causing this when inside in an enclosure- poor lighting (no additional plant lights), or underwatering.
I’ve planted some in the...
Couple of quick questions to follow up-
Are both chameleons female? (Not that it’s ok to have two in one enclosure, but at least we’re not worrying about stress from a male chasing this female around trying to breed her constantly)
How are you measuring temperature and humidity? If it’s from...
Please fill this out. It’s hard to give any advice without any information so this form was developed years ago so someone can help!

At this point I’d definitely wait (if I were you)
The 24x24x48 is not necessary at this very second (and not even necessary for a full grown female).
You’ll want to upgrade soon (they get big quick). I’ve kept females in 18x18x36 quite comfortably.
You’re going to catch flack about wanting to use Exo Terra’s, but I’ve used them for many...
I’ve had success with “higher” temperatures with xantholophus. In Hawaii they can see temps up to the high 80s.
I too had issues getting a significant night time drop. AC was kept in the low 70s. I provided a more densely planted enclosure, and gave a basking spot. This allowed for temperature...
I’ve bought quite a few different chameleons from Mile and was very pleased.
I understand it can be quite disappointing that your chameleon is not showing characteristics that you wanted (which is why you’d buy a specific bloodline), but the genetics going into this can explain a lot...
