    "All in One" Mercury Bulbs

I have been considering getting one of the all in one mercury bulbs with UVB UVA and Heat. Are these a good choice? And also what wattage would you advise I get to ensure i keep temps in the desired zones? My cage is an XL Reptibreeze

    Temperature issues and question

Just wondering what I need to do to get my temps up. Almost every source says to go with a 60-75 watt heat/basking bulb, and I have a 75 watt one. They say anything above 75 can burn them. Most chameleon owners get desired temps from this, but not me. With the 75watt bulb, I can get the...

    Normal legs?

He gets calcium without D3 at ever feeding, and he has 5-7 calcium-worms every day as well so I know he's getting enough calcium. And the strength/performance in his legs are completely normal which is why I don't think he has MBD. And it's only in his back legs

    Normal legs?

Okay I will take some more pictures tomorrow and post them. And yes I was thinking it may just be how he's sitting as well, as it is hardly noticeable when he has his legs straight

    Normal legs?

By "not that bad" do you mean there's still something wrong?

    Normal legs?

I posted these pics a while go, and everyone said he looked fine, but I just saw a post where someone says this is MBD. My boy acts completely normal and has full strength in his legs, ans hes hung upside down ans stood up on just his back legs. My question is on the back ankles. Theres that...

    Taking the Road Less Traveled

I have seen multiple chameleons that have been raised this way, all have turned out to be healthy and happy.

    Taking the Road Less Traveled

In the journey of "taming" my panther chameleon of 6 months, I have decided to take the road less traveled. That is, tame him by handling every day. I know, this may or may not work. If you saw my last post, you know there is a YouTuber you all should look up called "cavetown". He has a...

    Introducing new feeders

Hey guys this is going to be a short post, but my 6 month old panther has fed on nothing but crickets since I got him about 2 months ago. He eats crickets hand fed no problem, but when I offer him hornworms, wax worms, or superworms, he just stares. And if I leave them near him too long, he'll...

    Opinions on "taming" your chams

So I can still handle daily, even if he gets puffed up and angry when he is in my hand? I don't want too many negative experiences for him

    Opinions on "taming" your chams

I know there is no such way to expect a chameleon to ever be "tame" but I have seen many opinions on how to do this, and I was wondering what you guys thoughts are. There is a YouTuber by the name of "cavetown" who has a VERY friendly chameleon. He loves crawling around all over the guy, and he...

    New Chameleon!!!

I personally would not use a night light. I have heard that chameleons can see all colors- they aren't like other reptiles that can't see infared lights. Plus a drop to the lower 70's at night is natural for them. The 100 watt may be fine, but ,ost people say not to go over 75 watts. Don't...
