Yeah. Hold him by the back of the head (not squeezing or pushing, just making sure his head doesn’t move) and weasling the end of the syringe on the side of his jaw into his mouth by gently pushing down on the lower jaw. I tried it with Robert when I got home and he was very Compliant with me...
Alrighty just got done at the vet. Good news. The vet said as long as I keep feeding him his supplements like I’m supposed to then he should improve. Because of his lack of appetite I’m going to be crushing up his bugs and feeding them to him through a syringe until he starts eating normally...
Yeah and sometimes the crickets choose just to eat the flukers over the actual gutloading food You put in. So then they’re not getting the nutrients they need, thus your Cham isn’t getting the nutrients he needs.
Right now, I am using papaya, blackberries and collard greens. I'm having bug burger shipped to me. I stopped using flukers because it was on the list of things not to use.
Just wanting to know how often you guys switch your gutloading mix out for a fresh mix. After a day? 2 days? Also, I notice the supers and crickets don't seem to take much interest in the mixes after the first few hours. They'll eat a lot for like an hour or two, and then lose complete interest...
