Schefflera is safe, I looked it up at FLchams list. Also planning to get a ficus benjamin real soon, would you recommend washing the leaves with soapy water or is just water enough?
Also, just to be clear, I’m NOT using Nekton MSA now, but I do have it now and that’s why I asked about it. I’m using just the JBL MicroCalcium one and I also have JBL TerraVit which I will use about once every 2 weeks.
Your Chameleon - Panther chameleon, male
Handling - Avoiding it atm, letting him get used to relatively new surroundings
Feeding - lateralis roaches, just started eating crickets also
Supplements - JBL MicroCalcium (Repashy plus LoD was actually my first choice, but they didn’t have any left)...
I live in Croatia, Europe. They are kept in a plastic container with a lid with many holes for air. I remove their food after a day or when I see it starts becoming moldy. No substrate in the roach container. There are also egg cartons in there for them to climb.
When and for how long should I run the fogger? And he never ate superworms btw, he doesn’t really want to. And yeah this poop looked kind of weird, but usually it looks normal.
Actually, he just ate really well. He ate 5 lateralis (1 small and 4 medium ones) and 2 crickets (the smallest ones I could get).
I dust his food with JBL MicroCalcium every time. He poops once a day and as a matter of fact he actually did it right now and I’m gonna attach it.
Also, a completely...
I got him from one of the two chameleon sellers in my country so there aren’t really many options, but the guy has many exotic animals and the chameleon was bred in Germany, but that’s all I know.
I haven’t tried anything else, but I’m planning to get some dubia roaches soon because he seems to...
Hi, I’ve had my panther chameleon (about 3-4 months old) for 1 week now and all he’s been eating are b. lateralis roaches. He isn’t eating much though, like 3-4 roaches daily (they are about an inch long). I tried offering him crickets and zoophobas morio, but he doesn’t want to eat any of...
This is the one. The one I’m using currently with every feeding is JBL MicroCalcium, was just wondering how Nekton MSA compares to it regarding every day feeding.
Hello, could someone more experienced please check out Nekton MSA supplement and give me a second opinion on whether it can be used daily because it contains D3 which I read shouldn’t be used daily, but like twice a month. Even though it says on the information about the product it can be used...
Honestly, if having the rest of their day under light and heat helps them digest a lot better and is of great importance I will wake up earlier than I usually do. I just need your opinion on it.
Update: I turned all the lights of and his color went back to normal and he’a moving now, probably finding a good place to sleep. So not sure what was the cause of going dark and not moving at all, but I’m glade he’s back to normal now. Also I have 1 more question. I’m unfortunately unable to...
@Ares05 I’ve read a lot of posts that the dark color indicates that he might be cold ,but that doesn’t make sense because he wouldn’t be standing still in the lower part of the screen cage, but he would go up instead as he did most of the time. So should I maybe leave the lamps on this night...
The JBL TerraVit is the only supplement he consumed since he ate only once and I dusted the roaches with this supplement, but I also have JBL MicroCalcium and Nekton MSA 40g supplement.
Your Chameleon - Panther chameleon, male
Handling - Avoiding it atm because he is probably pretty stressed from moving
Feeding - Dubia roaches, I also have crickets, but they are pretty big and I’m not sure about giving them my cham yet
Supplements - JBL TerraVit
Watering - Misting manually 3-4...
