    Edema

As Casque has already said bee pollen is not totally benign from a supplementation standpoint. It does have some fat soluble vitamins, including D, although for the life of me I can’t find a resource with D3 levels in bee pollen (@kinyonga 😉). It appears it has PROvitamin A through beta...

Fighting low humidity again! Please help!

+1 to you both. Screen cages make it nearly impossible to maintain day/night humidity cycles unless your ambient humidity is at or near day time goals, and even then getting to 80-100% is very hard to do Mine will always be covered on all four sides or outdoors from now on

    Question about buldge under neck...

You’re most welcome. Kinyonga already talked about a good supplementation routine for your Cham as well Once you have proper lighting, you will definitely want to follow this supplementation routine Also remember for great nutrition two very important aspects are feeder variety and feeding...

    Question about buldge under neck...

Just my guess by looking, but I don’t think that red bulb provides any UVB. UVB is essential to your Chams health. And of the other is an LED bulb, it’s definitely not supplying UVB either and probably very little heat It is recommended (really required) that you provide UVB to your chameleon...

    Different concepts, or substantive consequences?

I definitely understand and in some ways agree with your perspective, and I didn’t intend to imply that you are being negative. My thoughts are that it’s great that they’ve taken the initiative to attempt what they’re doing on a very limited basis. Will there ever be a million dollar study...

    Different concepts, or substantive consequences?

I understand that it’s likely vastly underpowered to reveal scientifically significant results, but we’re talking about successful hobbyists taking on a problem of their own volition. I think it’s great, and it’s absolutely a step in the right direction. Since we know that your million dollar...

    Edema

Are you heating your home right now? What’s your ambient humidity like in the house? I think dependent edema is most times going to be due to organ insufficiency of some kind, and the most likely systems involved are cardiopulmonary, hepatic, and renal systems. I have no idea what the...

A neat, compact, LED/T5UV unit by ZooMed (yep)

I was getting UVI of 3-4 through the screen with about 6-8 inches between the basking area and the bulb. It is a single reflector.

A neat, compact, LED/T5UV unit by ZooMed (yep)

There’s only two cords one for the LEDs and one for the fluorescent fixture, so unless you manually turn on/off the other LEDs, the moonlights will go off with rest if it’s on a timer

This light has a T5HO linear UVB bulb for D3 synthesis along with daylight LED for plant growth. A heat lamp for basking temperatures is usually still important for their health

    Black Soldier Fly Larvae

Definitely feed off the flies if they pupate. I usually take all the dark ones that are near changing to flies and throw them in the plant pots to pop up when they’re ready Your Cham will LOVE the flies

I’ve used the 24” version as well and had good results with my plants and it has a good single reflector for the UVB bulb.

    Some CBB brookesia stumpffi

It would be great to hear more about breeding these guys. It looks like you incubated the eggs outside the enclosure, how hard was it find their eggs (they must be very small)? What did you use for incubation temps? Day/night temp variations? Diapause? I would love to hear more about breeding...
