ok I know what a butt joint is now. I will deff give this a go. I don't have a miter saw. I have a few hack saws and hand saws. That's a bout it.

it looks quite good to me I may have a go at making something similar. The hardest part for me will be the hinges though:( I'm not to sure I will be able to make a good door. Could you give me some tips?

Any ideas? My 24x24x48" is too large to drag around etc and carry out the back door on hot days. Is there any way I can make a cheapish one?

I repotted it to one larger pot and gave it a bit of water to get the soil mixed up a bit. Anything else I should know?

Basically wondering if anyone know anythingabout cactus plants. Wanted to know if it was worth while re potting mine? The roots are pretty much all the way round the soil and filling up the pot.

I've noticed my cham goes under the tube now and then but not for no where near as long as the basking light. I think the UVB tube have much more range inside the enclosure. I'm quite sure mine does any way because it has a reflector on it aiming it all round the enclosure.

Was just thinking the same thing. If your cham isn't digesting properly it sounds like a health issue to me.

Liking the look of it so far. Not to sure about keeping it next to the window as the heat may make it too warm and also drafts etc...

The airing cupboard has my boiler thing in it for the central heating system.

Well mine are kept in the airing cupboard which is dark near enough ALL the time unless i'm getting a towel out or something lol.
