I am familiar with gout as I suffer from it myself and when it flares up it is very painful and makes walking almost impossible.
I take medication to keep uric acid levels in check but not sure if they have a medication for chams that would do the same.

I got a veiled from them about 2 years ago without any health problems but when I enquired about hatch date and a couple other things,
They couldn't answer the questions. Huh???😟
I raise mine in open containers with wheat bran as a substrate. No need to feed or water as they eat the wheat bran. Keep them all together and they will last a looooong time. Separate and they will turn into beetles 🐜

One of the reasons I don't even go to big box stores or reptile shops. I would just as soon buy online as having to witness the lack of care seen in most establishments. Just pisses me off and usually ends up in an argument.😈
