Okay so that’s probably it. Idk why I never got the temp gun sooner. I’ll lower the wattage of the bulb. It was just weird because it’s relatively new thing I’ve been catching. Ambient is usually in the 70s so that’s why I’ve never checked.
I caught this a couple times last week. And now today she’s doing it. Only in basking area. I got a temp gun recently and it’s pretty steady around 95F. I checked her skin and it’s 95 as well. No weird noises or wheezing, no saliva/bubbles. Eating and moving fine. My humidity is actually lower...
She might’ve just had to poop because the belly is smaller now but I can’t get a good picture at the moment. Good news is the gular edema seems pretty much gone.
Maybe she’s just being weird. Otherwise she’s still doing very well. Still always judging me😂
She also has a little belly on her and I caught her trying to do her thing and try to break out. What is going on??
Also what is a good way to clean the acrylic without removing her? Vinegar/water mix?
It varies too. It’s like she’s almost puffing it out as well? Last reptivite feeding was Saturday. She has been getting dubias more lately because i got crickets that were too small so I’m hoping they grow more.
This is today. She yawned or stretched her mouth when I got home. Or maybe she was mad at the tv. Idk. And then my boyfriend walked by with the grocery bags and she was very curious 😂 she’s so funny
I’m concerned about everything😂 but yes. If a little was there before it’s very prominent now. Maybe because she’s skinny again? I haven’t changed supplement schedule or anything.
When she was pulling herself up it was like a pea size lump. But I wonder is it really edema or is it because she laid eggs and is all skinny again? What do I do if it is edema?
I’ve read about weighing but I haven’t gotten to the point yet. I don’t want to stress her too much. Her behaviors definitely changed when she became receptive though.
Oh I know. I try not to comment too much in the groups. I’ll never comment in the Reddit group😂
That was the hardest part about cutting back, I want her to be healthy and happy and full. Also it was part of every morning routine. Now that I ripped the bandaid off it’s not so bad.
