    Veiled Eye

Ok, the longest I have taken him out was around half an hour. I'll try it out. :)

    Thank you everyone

It's very good of you to be able to admit that a chameleon may not be the best for you. :) By all means, I hope you stick around and keep learning. Someday a chameleon may work out for you, as you said. I know I love all reptiles, as do most people here I'm guessing, and I'd love to see...

    Veiled Eye

I would love to keep him outside until it gets too cold, but the weather up here has been too unpredictable. For a while our temperature was in the high 90s and even got above a hundred. Now we're getting storms. He's also afraid of the cars driving by. :o

    Veiled Eye

Haha, well thank you. I'd rather hear that I'm worrying too much than that there's a problem. :p I did it once before with a little white dot on his chin that was gone the next day after a shed. I needed this today. :o He's my baby.

    Veiled Eye

I think okiroo may have gotten that idea from this thread (only a guess): https://www.chameleonforums.com/what-mbd-looks-like-38000/ I saw that as well, but thought that the fact that the cham suffered from both MBD and the eye bulge was only coincidence. Edit: Ah sorry, I missed that you had...

    Veiled Eye

Yeah, sorry I didn't get a better picture for you. I was in a rush to get the question up before work. Here are some better ones, showing the limbs just in case.

    Veiled Eye

I noticed today that my veiled chameleon's eyes look a little different than their usual selves. I'm not sure whether there's an extra bulge here, or his eyes are less bulgey than the usual, it's hard to tell. Other than this, he is acting normally, though I know they are one of those animals...

    Napoleon vs. his first hornworm

Recently I'm worried he may not be drinking enough. I used to see him drink right from the dripper like a straw, but I haven't seen him do it in a while. I'm trying the hornworms in hopes that he'll get more water from his feeders.

Where to buy supplies in Houston area?

I also ordered mine online. I got them here: http://www.pangeareptile.com/store/dietary-supplements/calcium-supplements.html The item arrived very quickly and the price was good. I've also ordered from LLLReptile and would say the same.

Do i need to take back 10.0 UVB?

UVB can't travel through plastic, so I wouldn't try that.

    cham nails =/??

It's good to know in certain cases they can grow back! I hope that yours is one of those cases. :(

Do i need to take back 10.0 UVB?

That's what I was thinking. Does your cage have the silver aluminum mesh or a dark mesh?

This ones for my little girl.

No matter how many pets I lose, it is always heartbreaking. :( I hope that her babies are just as adorable.

    cham nails =/??

I don't believe the nails are able to grow back. :( Do you know how he lost it?

    My Kirby

It's awesome that you set up a free range for him. Such a pretty boy needs to be spoiled. :) I'm starting to think that our chameleons own us, not the other way around.

    Napoleon vs. his first hornworm

I think he liked it. He went after three smaller ones after this. These are his basking colors, he looks even better in normal relaxed colors. Thanks :)

    Napoleon vs. his first hornworm

I got the default shipping (just didn't change that option). I'm pretty close to you, in northwest Ohio. They got here around 8:30am so I'm guessing you could get yours within two days as well.

    Napoleon vs. his first hornworm

I ordered them from Mulberry Farms, one of the site sponsors. They're located in California. The worms got here 100% alive only two days after ordering, even in this terrible heat. :D
