You know, Garrett may be absolutly right. So I would ask the vet in greater detail about this or in possible smaller doses. Hopefully Kent will read this also.
Here Are some of the Jacksons I have had for around a year. I am going to put my Jacksons up for sale. We just hatched out a bunch of Fishers Chams and regretfully (for me and my Jacksons) need to make room for the new babies. These Jacksons are "all" some of the friendliest Chams I have seen...
Here Are some of the Jacksons "Males" I have had for around a year. I have been real busy in other avenues and havent been to this site in some time. But I am going to put my Jacksons up for sale. We just hatched out a bunch of Fishers Chams and regretfully (for me and my Jacksons) need to make...
Yes that is one way, by injecting the feeder before feeding off. OR the Vet if asked will usually have flexable tipped syringe, that looks like a needle, oniy its plactic. You can insert the plastic tip into the very front of the Chams mouth even when closed or mostly closed and inject at the...
Ok I jumped through most the post, but who sold you an/or how did you get an 8 day old Panther? Good luck to ya, listen well to those here and hope we all can pull getting this one on the right tract. :)
Look how round the belly is on the frontal pic. Im most assured she is having complications with needing to lay or reabsorb the eggs. She may have been healthier in the past and was more fit to pull off reabsorbtion< But you got to admit reaborption is reallity if not laying for 2 years...
She has most likely been reabsorbing them for some reason, For 2 years. Reason for that was never provided laying site?
She is now having difficulty with that. egg binding and infection could be setting in.
Syn, did you try the way to zoom in the attatchments?
This is for people here examining pic's.
Here is how: First click the attachment
Then once it comes up, double click the picture again
It should click to a whole new frame with the ability to Zoom
Then zoom into area you want to examine...
Well the frog is about as large as a kids hand, and as big as the full grown Jacksons Cham in mass. And looks just like the smaller green/brown tree frogs.
He sprays/mists the cage so I think the frog moves about through the moist leaves and I think absorbes water through its skin
He says they...
Ok I have to add this for those that are not sure of this. My Son lives in Texas most the year (winters) and He has a Jacksons I sent him. & (without my imediate knowlage) added in some sort of large tree frog which is living in the same Reptarium I sent him for almost a year now. He sends me...
Ok, I'm gonna go out there on possibilities as JoJackson has.? Good possibility of pushing against things and possibly deforming a growing casque?? Very plausible considering we have been told the Cham appears in excellent health otherwise.?
Lastly, and this has possibly nothing to do with...
Ok I have noticed one thing I have personally learned here, and HAVE WITNESED in my Panther / Ficus combination, "IS" eye problems! Do away with the Ficus tree, up its vitamin A and give it abit to go away! :)
Ha Ha Ha good shot Steve!, Check my Tobacco spittin Cham :) Hope you dont mind. I just had to laugh with you posting your picture after I was looking through mine :D
Of all the Chameleons I free range, My Fischers do well in this setup. Problem for you being the Tortoise. Fischers seem to be the most motivated to moving about allot. And would probubly venture down near the Tortoise. I do not think that if It saw the Tortoise move it would go anywhere near...
Ok, there is no reason why Free Range cannot be done with the Majority of Chameleon species. Those here that do it, speek highly of the success in it. But it does depend on your circumstances and personal household situations.
I create beautiful, attractive free range setups for most my larger...
