i'm a sparky by trade and am the ultimate auto-maniac! You should see my marine aquarium, wave makers, moon-lights, current changers etc etc, my wife calls me the mad professor.
Automating my cham enclosure has to be the ultimate, but I can't...

Hey Guys and Girls,
I remember on another thread that another member and myself asked the question HOW DO YOU OFFER YOUR CHAM VEGGIES, which unfortunately no one replied.
Alot of people said they feed there chams veggies and fruits, but I was wondering HOW DO YOU ACTUALLY PRESENT THE FOOD...
Get a reptile heat pad controlled by a probe thermostat, with the probe located in the roach enclosure....temps reach desired temps for roach and then turns off...
Hey guys,

Not wanting to hijack the thread Mesnik, but I have a question too, i'm a tad confused!
So Dave, we all are familiar with the pro-mist PM60 deal with the PM-MNH nozzles (i have this set up with 2 nozzles), do I need to reduce the pressure, OR, is this setup...

We have an advertisment on TV in my country about fire dangers in the home, where a lady leaves her fries (we call them chips) cooking in oil on the stove top, which inadvertanely spontaneously combust and burn the kitchen down and the catch phrase is "Oh my...

Hi,
As I am a newbie to chams, I would like the opinion of the experts on the colour transformation during the growing phases of the veiled chameleon.
My 4 month old male veiled has just shed and unlike other herps in my collection, there doesn't seem to be much difference in colour each...
Like I mentioned in the original post, watch the trail, you may have a nest in the room and not in your cage, although you killed a heap off, they may be making their way back.
If you have a few strays hanging on, then as was said before, if there's no queen, they will die off.
Yeh ants...lol
Seriously though, I have had the same problem in a dragon enclosure, not sure how they arrived, but they are only in my enclosure and not in the house...they are tiny black ants.
As I have a substrate (palm peat) in my dragon enclosure with a drain, I just over watered it until...
Yeh I agree, Vegas Chad...
Silkworms will last awhile without a feed and that does inhibit their growth, it is a good way to control your feeders..like Chad says, "give them small feeds"...
Remember though, silkies can be a bit larger than your usual feeders as they do have soft bodies and...
Hi all,
I have a couple of rogue crickets in one of my enclosures, that have escaped being eaten and grown up to be annoying chirping little pains in the a**e, which are too big for my guy to eat.
Does anyone know how to trap them, ie DIY cricket trap, small enough for lizard enclosures?
I...
