Its official! Lilly #2 is mine!

If at all possible, keep putting her out in the sun. Nothing comes close in regards to the UVB's (and all the good things that go along with it), like the sun can. Just keep a close eye on the temps. Wishing you and your cham nothing but positive vibes towards her good health again.

You know you're a chameleon addict when....

You know your addicted when..... Your desktop background is of your chameleon. At night, if you need something from their room, you use a flashlight instead of turning on the lights. You obsess about your feeder's gutload.

    Spurs!! Help Please!

Oh my goodness, that's hilarious :D As far as the name Amos goes, Thanks Tiff, you just payed me a great compliment if you're keeping that name. If he is a little boy, just as others have said you don't have the egg laying issues anymore. That was one of my main reasons for buying a male...

    Escape Artist

Listen, if firemen can save ducklings out of a drainage ditch (and make the news doing it), then they'll help you with your cham. Give them a call.

    Chameleons stolen

Chuck, it's not your fault. They were on your property! This makes me sick just reading about it. :( I'd check neighboring stores, etc. and see if someone caught it on video. Walking around with chameleon cages should be easy to spot. Keep us posted. Good luck!

Mornings: Panther turns black and hides

Gizmo did the same thing for the first couple of months that I had him (he was a baby too). I'd say that it took him about 6 months to finally calm down around me. I did handle him from the get-go, but only to clean his cage and take him outside. That was it. He eventually figured out the...

    UVB swings.

Wow! you wanna hear something crazy? I went out this morning at 9:30 am when it was just clouding up in my area - and I got the same 66 reading on mine. What time did you take that 66 reading? Very good video showing the incredible UVB ranges that can occur in just a very short time.

    Aging Veiled Advice!

I recall that sometime back there was someone with a senior citizen veiled who rigged up a net of some sort (stretched out), by a window for their old man. They provided him with his necessary lighting and there he stayed. In fact they even posted a picture of his set up. He looked very...

Cham sat on floor - please help!

I second this recommendation! Get yourself a Med Reptisun 5.0 Linear and a 50w heat lamp. That and the dripper will really help. Good luck with your beautiful girl. :)

About the REALLY join the community!

Congratulations on the purchase of your cham! Here's one suggestion that comes from my own experience.... After you've got your cage and vines set-up - check and recheck the temperatures everywhere from basking spot to bottom of cage. It took me almost a week to get the vines the correct...
