    Nervous new Cham owner

You can use calcium with D3 2-3 times a month. Calcium without D3 the rest of the time. Also good todo vitamins 1-2 times a month. How is he eating? Does he leave crickets leftover in his cage? If so you may want to limit the amount running around at night because crickets will eat on...

Updated his enclosure, any advice for how to improve it now?

I've used lowes plants a lot and as long as you repot them and wash them off for 20 min they work. Agree that he needs more cover. When looking at plants remember to check if they are chameleon safe.

What more do I need for my enclosure?

What temperatures do you have at night? I know if it gets below like 50F you need s night bulb, but if not then you can take that out because it will keep your Cham up. I like using plants my Cham can walk up too. I've noticed that plants without strong branches will result in more falls...

How to tell the age of a Male Veiled?

I looked a lot for a chart since my female veiled age was unspecified. Each chameleon is different so you have to go on length for a rough estimate sometimes. How long is he tip of tail to nose? My female right around 8-9 inches right now and I literally got her a month or less from being...

    Best water system

I have two monsoons for two separate cages. They have been working fine but I'm interested in trying the mistking system as well when they go out. Depends on what your price range for your new water system but mistaking has a lot of members' vote. I also place a dripper in my jacksons cage...

    Mesh enclosure/feeding advice

Do you have a humidity gauge? If so what does it say? If not may want to invest in one. Live plants help with humidity and so does covering up a side or two of the cage with some sort of plastic sheet. Like a trash bag or a tarp.
