I don't exactly what kind it is, but based on the prominent back ridge, and no complete ridge outlining the top edges of her nose area, I'd say she's not a panther, but I could be wrong!
Handling
Do you know what kind of panther cham it is? it looks like it has a bit of blue green on him, which makes me think its a male. Also how often have you been handling him? you say you've had him for a about two weeks, and the first week of getting him its important you try not to handle...
Training
When I first got my Panther, he did not want to come out at all, but after a while of leaving the enclosure door open, he started climbing out on his own, then what I did was go for walks around my neighborhood with him on my shoulder. But I also managed to half train him not to go in...
Welcome to the forums Vinmonte/Calvin! Congrats on your new little baby, it sounds like you've got the right idea and gear, besides what Carlton has suggested.:)
My sisters and mom call me a worry some mother by the way I'm always stressing over my panther. He is my first cham, so of course I'm worry some! but every now and then, you kinda just have to tell yourself "what will be, will be" and look at everything that is going right ;)
It has something to do with the fact that Florida weather is so wet and warm, invasive species of roaches could escape and begin mass producing with such good survival conditions, or something along those lines :D
Burn
When I first got my panther, I brought him home from the place I got him and discovered a large black gray patch on his belly, I called the store and they said it must be a burn from when he was a baby, wish they told me earlier! But he is still a great Cham and the burn doesn't seem to...
No!No! My chameleon is not suffering from eye boogers, I've just seen and heard about them in other posts and want to know more about them, but thank you for the recommendations!
hey everybody,
I've had my panther cham for around four months now, and I've never previously owned a chameleon. I think I'm doing alright with him but I was wondering, what are chameleon eye boogers? I've seen and heard about them, but I don't know exactly what they are. Where do they come...
It is a great place for feeders, unfortunately they don' t ship roaches to Florida! Yes, I know shipping roaches to Florida is illegal, but i still really want some for my Cham! Also, pretty sure they don't sell mantids
Really!?
I didn't know that Montium! My Panther stopped eating for a well but drank a lot of water and has been eating a little bit more since then
Respiratory
Could Reptar possibly be having respiratory problems? You say the enclosure has screening on top and bottom and the rest is glass? I know ventilation is important, but from the sounds of it, it's may not be a respiratory problem. Please update his condition if anything changes!
Frostbite
My Ambanja Panther gets a lot of red when he puffs up and a little bit of yellow, I'm so jealous of your ambilobe having green Dracolikesreptiles! I love Ambilobes with shades of green!
Frostbite
My Cham Frostbite practically flies out of his enclosure everyday! And doesn't seem to be to stressed or affected even after an hour of handling, but I thank all of you for the tips and I will keep handling time under consideration :D
